Scope and topics of interest:

• Natural Computing can be broadly defined as the development of computerprograms and computational algorithms using metaphorical inspirationfrom system and phenomena that occur in the natural world. Fundamentalsof Natural Computing: Basic Concepts, Algorithms, and Applicationspresent a wide-ranging survey of novel techniques and importantapplications of nature-based computing. The goal of NIT 2010 is tooffer a platform to critically assess present findings in the field,and to outline future developments in nature-inspired computing.Original papers describing current research in the areas given beloware invited, but other relevant areas also welcome. Papers inapplication areas of the same fields will also be considered.
